What is a lash lift & tint?

Consider a lash lift akin to a perm for your eyelashes. Following the treatment, you’ll enjoy fuller, longer-looking lashes that replicate the effect of using an eyelash curler. This semi-permanent procedure offers results lasting for weeks, not just hours, making it an ideal choice for individuals with naturally straight eyelashes or anyone seeking an added lift.

How to prepare for your Lash Lift & Tint appointment

Please make sure to arrive without contacts, concealer, eye makeup (mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow etc.) on the day of your appointment. Avoid curling your natural lashes with a lash curler for 24 hours prior to your appointment.

What to expect during a lash lift & tint appointment

As lash lifts offer a considerable degree of customization, you and your esthetician collaborate to determine the ideal curl level that aligns with your preferences. The process begins with a consultation to discuss your lash goals. Once in agreement, your esthetician starts by placing a silicone pad on your eyelids, using a gentle adhesive solution to ensure a better and more consistent curl. The lashes are then carefully combed over the pad and secured in place with the same adhesive solution. Next, the perming solution is meticulously applied at the root of your lashes to initiate the reshaping process. Subsequently, a neutralizing solution is applied to fortify the new curl, followed by the application of a conditioning agent to soften and strengthen your hairs.

How do I take care of my lashes after my treatment?

  • DO USE A LASH SERUM. It’s recommended to use a lash serum to help your lashes grow longer and strong.
  • MOISTURIZE your lashes. It’s recommended to use an oil that is safe to use around the eye area and lashes to help moisturize your lashes.
  • DO NOT WET your lashes for 24 hours after the appointment.
  • DO NOT SLEEP with your face laid on the pillow. You must sleep on your back for 24 hours. Your lashes are prone to kinks within 24 hours after the procedure.
  • DO NOT PULL your lashes. This can cause your natural lashes to fall out prematurely and cause both breakage and permanent damage to the hair follicle.

Lash/Brow Tint: $25/$20

Tinting is a process that involves the application of semi-permanent dye to enhance, define and shape your brows and lashes. The process improves the appearance of brows and lashes, making them thicker and more youthful. As a part of the process, your skincare specialist will evaluate your natural hair color and tint your brows and lashes to match as closely as possible.

No. Properly trained and skilled professionals ensure proper lash lift procedures are followed.

The results last 6-8 weeks. Why? In about 8 weeks, your curled adult lashes will grow old and fall out. New baby lashes will peek through and return back to your natural state. Most of our clients get their lashes re-lifted every 6-8 weeks. If your hair and nails grow fast, you may want a lash lift closer to the 6 week mark.

Yes – but it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.

For the first 24 hours, use cold water to clean the eye area. After that, you can take hot showers, go to the sauna, and your lashes will be fine!

Eyelash Lift & Tint MAY NOT be suitable for clients that:

  • Have very little natural eyelashes or have nothing. The gaps between your lashes will be more noticeable
  • Have pre-existing eye(lid) conditions such as chronic dry eye, blepharitis, conjunctivitis and ocular rosacea
  • Lasik surgery (wait a minimum of 6 months from your procedure)
  • Have Trichotillomania (compulsive pulling or twisting hair, eyebrows and eyelashes)
  • Have very sensitive eyes or possible allergies to adhesive (recommended to book an appointment for a patch test)
  • Who are rough with their lashes
  • Undergoing chemo treatments or have had chemo treatments within the past year (recommend to consult with your physician)
  • Are sensitive or have allergies to dyes (recommended to book an appointment for a patch test)
  • Had blepharoplasty surgery (must wait a minimum of 1 year after your surgery)

The first trimester of pregnancy is often a period of higher hormonal changes and many women can experience more sensitivities during this period. For this reason, we recommend not getting lash lifts done during the first trimester.

No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a much better result than using a curler, but more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.
